I'm only one step away...

Considering my love for this band, and the name of this blog in particular, I felt it necessary to post this video.

This is the full set played by Trial at the festival celebrating the release of the book studying the era of hardcore in the 1990s, entitled 'Burning Fight'. The show took place this weekend just gone. I wish I'd fucking gone...

In a genre which is extremely easy to satirise, manipulate for a sense of self worth and often use as a catalyst for violence, Trial will always be 'that' band who make hardcore a respectable genre of music, especially as it seems as time goes on, fewer and fewer people genuinely exemplify the values of unity, self worth and consideration for other beings, which they're all too happy to rave about when they can be bothered. Trial are still a vegan straight edge band who possess the political views they did when they began, and their songs are still as meaningful and as important to the genre as they were when they released their most recent material, a decade ago.
